About Katie

Katie is a Research Coordinator with the University of Maryland, College Park’s Treating Parents with ADHD and their Children (TPAC) study in partnership with Children’s National Hospital. Before beginning work as a Research Coordinator with TPAC, Katie graduated from the University of Maryland with her B.S. in Psychology and minor in Public Leadership. Katie has previously been involved researching the neural correlates of depression in early childhood, the experience of victim-blaming for gender-minorities in cases of intimate partner violence (IPV), and has been involved with research outside the Psychology department studying occupational health disorders in musicians. Katie’s current research interests are centered around improving mental health treatment implementation and access, particularly for underserved communities, and she hopes to one day pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to further pursue this research area.
