Tricia is a faculty research assistant at the Maryland ADHD Program. She is currently coordinating the BEAM-S Project (Behaviorally Enhancing Adolescents’ Mood in Schools), which is a school-based depression prevention program for Baltimore inner city high school students with ADHD who are at risk for developing depression. Previously, Tricia earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas before serving in the Peace Corps for two years as a volunteer English teacher in Cambodia. Her research interests include global mental health and the dissemination and implementation of community-based behavioral treatment programs, specifically in underserved populations. Tricia hopes to complete a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
