Kelsey graduated in 2013 with University and Psychology Honors from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Spanish Language and Cultures. Prior to matriculation into the doctoral program, she completed two years of post-baccalaureate research as a Faculty Research Assistant at the Maryland ADHD Program where she coordinated a neuroimaging study examining parenting behavior among mothers of children with ADHD. In 2015, Kelsey was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Her current research interests include intervention development, parenting behavior, and emotion regulation and socialization processes.
