About Amanda

I graduated from the University of Maryland with my Bachelor's in Psychology in December of 2018. I have been accepted into the University of Maryland's Master's Program in Clinical Psychological Science for the upcoming Fall 2019 semester. I have practicum experience from interning at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at which I was introduced to Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and became very interested in its benefits. My research interests include PCIT training, more specifically for children who have experienced trauma and have developed behavioral disorders or for whom the trauma has worsened a preexisting behavioral disorder. After graduating from the MPS program, I look forward to furthering my education and applying to graduate schools that have a focus on Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology with sub-focuses in PCIT and/or trauma.
